Religious Story

The Temple is home to the presence of the Great Wizard Pood, an ancient and powerful wizard known for and named after his flock of magical poodles.

The church speaks with its own voice. The Great Wizard Pood, the wandering wizard, listened. “Help me,” the church said; “help me and I will help you.” The church is built on the ancient knowledge, and shared it with the Great Wizard Pood. Upon the death of his mortal body, the Great Wizard Pood added his soul to the church and became of it.

The poodles search for the ancient knowledge. They bring it to the Great Wizard Pood, who provides them with love and shelter. The Great Wizard Pood gathered them up as strays and taught them the ancient knowledge he knew, setting them free and giving them dignity.

The poodles fly to the moon to deliver mail, and use all the magic they have there to make the ancient knowledge corporeal. They endure any hardship for the Great Wizard Pood and his church; without his home he will perish, the voice of the church will be lost, and the poodles will return to being strays once again.

The Great Wizard Pood is carried by the flock of poodles on their backs. They carry him to safety and comfort, and keep his house in order so that visitors can speak to him and the church.

The Great Wizard Pood loves the church that spoke to him, and cares for all that visit so they can speak and listen to the church as well. He loved the church so much he put himself into it to uphold it and remain forever part of it, residing there to teach the ancient knowledge.

There is always shelter in the Great Wizard Pood, who lived in the ancient knowledge. Wherever the ancient knowledge is sought and studied, the Great Wizard Pood can be found.
